Music

I am a practicing drummer. My expertise is in modern jazz and free improvisation. I've done a variety of performing over the years, and have released two albums as a co-leader to date. The most recent is KinAesthetic, a saxophone/drum duo project with my brother Ben Cohen. The best place to find CDs and Mp3s of our record "The Pin Oak Sessions" is at Ben Cohen Music. It is also available on iTunes, Spotify, cdbaby, etc.

Another collaboration I've been involved with for nearly 10 years is an improvising collective consisting of saxophonist Kate Olson, guitarist Gary Prince, and pianist Matt Endahl. In 2014, the trio of Kate, Gary and I released our first record as cagematch called "Missing the End All," which is available in Mp3 format on bandcamp.
