Carl R. Bybee is an Associate Professor in
Communication Studies at the School of Journalism
and Communication at the University of Oregon.

Bybee participates as faculty in the departments of
Comparative Literature, Cinema Studies, Folklore,
and the Robert D. Clark Honors College.

Bybee is Executive Director of The Oregon Media Literacy Project, and acts
as UO Chapter President of The Association of American University Professors.
He received his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
