The Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Oregon is committed to a liberal arts approach to theatre education, maintaining high standards both in. academic and creative practices. Our program prepares graduates to compete in the job market with a curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, team problem-solving, creative expression in various media, public speaking, and refined writing skills. The aim of the Minor is to expose students to a variety of the disciplines within Theatre and to allow for some specialization.
