Lighting Upgrades Inside Pacific Hall

| Enter into Pacific Hall and notice the ceiling lighting. Facilities replaced the original t-12 fluorescent lights with the more efficient t-8 bulbs. | The
old t-12 bulbs were 12/8's inches or 1 and 1/4 inches. The new t-8
bulbs are 8/8's inches or 1 inch in diameter. These new bulbs use
30% less electricity to produce the same amount of light. |
The lighting upgrades just in Pacific Hall acount for 30,000 KWh's of electrical savings annually. Due to the installation of these more efficient bulbs, 2.3 KWh's were saved per square foot in the building. |
