libraryThe EDC library houses our extensive collection of books and periodicals focused on sustainable design. The library is open to the community and is located in our main office at 381B Lawrence Hall. Books can be checked out on a weekly basis with either a $50 deposit or a university ID. professional developmentAmerican Institute of ArchitectsThe AIA is the voice of the architecture profession, dedicated to serving its members, advancing their value, and improving the quality of the built environment. The AIA offers “Knowledge Communities”: groups within the AIA for members who share a passion for a given topic, and who collaborate to deepen their understanding of that topic through ongoing learning and knowledge sharing. American Society of Interior DesignersThe American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is a nonprofit professional society representing the interests of interior designers and the interior design community. Membership is comprised of professionals in both residential and commercial design, and also includes membership opportunities for students.
