May 17, Sunday, 10 am - 4 p.m. Wildflower Show at Mount Pisgah Arboretum. 19th annual spring show, with a display of every wildflower blooming in Lane County in spring (except rare and endangered species), prepared in conjunction with the Native Plant Society of Oregon - Emerald Chapter. Experts will be on hand to identify wildflowers brought in by show attendees. Also, guided nature walks, nature craft vendors, plant sale--includes native plants for the garden and choice items from member's gardens and local specialty nurseries, music, food, and fun for kids. Turn up in work clothes and boots (good for rain if necessary); bring tools for native plant restoration, erosion control, trail crew, and litter patrol.
