Congratulations, the curator has selected you to join a group of artists whose work will be displayed on the cafeteria wall!  Each artist will use one perspective sketch and one section drawing to generate graphically bold images that can be printed in silk screen. As the curator is interested in seeing alternative moods for the cafeteria, each artist is asked to at least one color variations of an image.

Purpose

This exercise develops skills in working with vector and raster graphics in print layouts

Objectives

• create vector graphics: a 2D plan or section from a 3D model
• export 2D graphics from modeler, import to Illustrator
• create pixel graphics with resolution and file format for Print, Web
• control layout with Rulers, Smart Guides,
• adjust graphic elements with Transform, Align, Layer order, Nudge
• adjust color and fonts to enhance the layout
• print an image with a drawing to scale from Illustrator
