The University of Oregon (virtual) Museum of Modern Art UO[v]MoMA is the hub for the students' artwork. In the role of the curator, you will identify and critique virtual showrooms as the first step in setting up your own web showroom. To set up your showroom, you will modify a basic HTML template.  Over the next weeks you will add work to this virtual display to culminate in a final version at the end of the term. Like any other museum, the individual presentation areas must be able to display artwork with many different forms of expression.

Purpose

This exercise introduces Internet communication as a design media and guides students in establishing a university web page

• Become skilled at manipulating text and images on a web page

• Understand how to upload files from the local disk to a remote location
