Home About the Site

This site is about art but not exactly in the traditional sense. To be sure, some of the people in these stories pursue music, painting, filmmaking and other arts. Other stories show that there is art in many other activities, such as volunteering in New Orleans or in a local needle exchange program, or in helping athletes achieve their potential.

It is the culminating project of J465/565, Cyberjournalism, a class taught at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication in Winter 2007.

Members of the class were:

Moriah Balingit, Jennifer Dollins, Kelly Garboden, Bethany Garfield, John Givot, Jobetta Hedelman, David Hegle, Jacaob May, Tess McBride, Mark Noack, Abel Patterson, Jim Sandberg, Jay Shenai, Carrie Stackhouse and Victoria Stephens.

Jennifer Dollins, John Givot, David Hegle, Mark Noack and Abel Patterson designed the site.
