Fishing Village in the Afternoon

IHL Cat. #957

About This Print

Kitaoka has captured a moment, during the heat of midday, of three villagers gathering seaweed and plants on the beach.  This print has a similar feel to the languid Fishing Village in the Afternoon one of the artist's best known works created in 1967 four years after this work.
