About This Print

This print is one of seven small format prints created by Hakutei for the short-lived 1915 magazine Shin Nigao whose purpose was to advertise the kabuki theater and renew interest in actor prints.  The actors being depicted are unidentified. This print appeared in issue 2, published in July 19195.
