Zenpukuji Koen Today

The park surrounds Zempukuji Pond, which is divided into an upper and a lower pond. The pond, which overflowed during the Edo era, was one of the three famous springs in Musashino. The park has a children’s playground and you can row boats in the upper pond. Cherry blossoms and water lilies also bloom. Winter birds such as green-winged teals and pintails visit the pond.
