About This Print
An untitled scene of a lone figure plowing a field with an ox and a primitive looking plow. The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria titles this print Ploughing the Rice Field. When it was released as part of an offering of six Saitō prints by the Book-of-the-Month Club, it was titled The Seasons: Spring. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art dates the print to 1971.
