Senoo (Senow) Kōjirō
Senoo Kōjirō 妹尾幸次郎 (1891-1961), also known as Senoo Kōyō 妹尾幸陽, the head of Senow Ongaku Shuppansha, was a publisher of musical scores and also a performance manager for many Western artists performing in Japan. He was the President of Yogaku Kensei Sha (The Association for the Study of Occidental Music), which he established in 1919. The Society had a membership 1,200 in the 1930s. Its purpose was to study and spread Occidental music.1
