Baker Beach Trailhead is a U.S. Forest Service site eight miles north of Florence on the Oregon Coast. It occupies part of the very north end of Oregon's 50-mile Dune Country. The trailhead offers hiker and equestrian access to trail loops through the dunes and to the ocean beach. See Baker Beach Trail.
Adjacent is the rustic Baker Beach Campground, with only four sites, a vault toilet, and no water. Both trailhead and campground may see more use by equestrians than by hikers.
Follow Baker Beach Road west near milepost 182 on US101.
