Bayshore, Oregon, is either a neighborhood of Waldport, or a nearby unincorporated community. It occupies the north shore of the lower Alsea Bay, notably the sand spit that pushes the river mouth southward. Bayshore is mostly homes: some remaining funky beach-style older homes, and many larger newer vacation homes and vacation rentals.
Access is by Bayshore Drive, running westward near milepost 155 on US 101. There isn't much for commerce. There are several public beach access points ( 66C , 67 , 67A , 67B , 67C , 67D ) along Oceania Drive, but all lack significant parking and seem to have been intended to accommodate the surrounding houses and rentals that are not themselves actually beachfront properties.
