Bob Creek Wayside

Bob Creek Wayside, sometimes called Bob's Beach, is located where Bob Creek reaches the Pacific Ocean.  It's near milepost 170 on US 101, south of Cape Perpetua in Lane County, Oregon.  The wayside offers a dozen paved parking spaces and beach access  84 , but not rest rooms or cell phone service.

The shore at Bob Creek is diverse, with sandy beach, persistent beds of 4-inch rocks, and remnants of basalt sheets jutting into the ocean.  Sea creatures dwell in tidepools.  Freshly-broken agates testify to violent waves and the rocky shore.

Bob Creek Wayside is managed by Oregon State Parks as part of Neptune State Scenic Viewpoint.  See picture profiles at 100 Steps and BeachConnection.netGoogle Image Search.
