Tierra Del Mar is a basic beach access. A broad, flat sandy beach offers views of Cape Kiwanda's dune and sea stack to the south, and the tall sheer cliffs running out toward Cape Lookout to the north.
The beach access is located just south of the unincorporated community of Tierra Del Mar, along the Three Capes Loop north of Cape Kiwanda and south of Sand Lake, in Tillamook County, Oregon.
Tierra Del Mar's beach access is less developed. You can park on gravel along the highway, or on sand on a stretch of beach open to motor vehicles. There is a porta-potty, but no trash service.
On the map, it appears that this part of the beach and land between the highway and the beach is part of or contiguous with Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area.
Tierra Del Mar has been assigned beach access number 35 in Oregon's system of numbered beach access points.
