Owen is a Postbaccalaureate Researcher currently studying the late-time radio emission of Type Ia Supernovae with the Very Large Array under the supervision of Professor Yvette Cendes at the University of Oregon.

He is also a member of the Follow-up Observing Program for NASA's TESS Mission where he uses the 0.35m robotic telescope at Pine Mountain Observatory to aid in the discovery and characterization of new exoplanets. He earned his B.S. in Physics at the University of Oregon in 2025, where he conducted research with Professor Yvette Cendes and Dr. Scott Fisher.
