Introduction to Particle Physics
There are several good introductory web sites available. These are just a few.
- Quarks Unbound - nice overview of the entire field from the APS.
- The Particle Adventure! - interactive tour with high quality graphics and lots of info.
- Interactions.org - communication website for HEP. See in particular the excellent Quantum Universe report.
- US/LHC Website - specifically oriented towards physics of LHC
- Antimatter: Mirror of the Universe - from CERN

Undergraduate Research Opportunities
The nature of particle physics research lends itself to a diverse selection of topics suitable for undergraduate research. These topics range from very hands-on hardware projects to very abstract numerical simulations.
