There has been a rash a car break-in’s recently at Portland International Airport.
Thieves are stealing vehicle registration slips in order to get the car owners
home address and also the garage door opener. With thieves
knowing if someone is out of town and having access into their garage, makes
their home an easy target to steal from.
The Port
of Portland is advising
travelers to take your car vehicle registration slip and garage door opener
with you when you travel as added protection.
