3D Images

Both text-based and 2D images can not fulfill a utlimate goal interms of achieving interaction with net surfers. Another limitation is that both can not present a space, for instance in a built environment, thoroughly and effectively. 3D images become the solution and new option to it.

There are different ways of presenting 3D images:

Static 3D images alone
Gif Animation
Movie
Panoramic Walkthrough
VRML

Static 3D images

They are the most commonly used and seen in many sites. Collaboration class site provides many of this type.

Gif Animation

In the collaboration website, I have some Gif animation images which provides a general walkthrough of the space. In this method, the interactive is still not provided. Compared to other methods, Gif animation can preserve better rendering quality of a 3D modeling than other methods.
