Besides
of Java Applets, Shockwave is the other animated effect added
to 2D images to increase the stimulation on viewing the image
as well as the interaction.
In
this website, the page uses flashware to create a special
effects. The animated images created by flashware
is much smaller than other animated images. However,
the quality of the images varied.
The
sites found by Todd are much cooler and
better in terms of quality, difficulty, and effectiveness
in presentation.
This
webpage has a map with flash effects. The map is used
to nevigate through the World Fair of 1904. In contrast
of the VRML walkthrough, discussed in later pages, it is
still conventional except that it added shock effects.
