Oregon Screening Project

Oregon Screening Project hosts an online, early child development self-screening opportunity for Oregon parents and caregivers of young children ages 1 month up to 78 months. The Oregon Screening Project’s, Check Your Child's Development site was created by, and is operated by the Early Intervention Program, University of Oregon. The purpose of this project is to enhance Child Find efforts and opportunities for parents to participate in universal early developmental screening. On this parent-driven, interactive website parents/caregivers can check a child’s early development with confidentiality, at will. Parents, primary caregivers and childcare providers (with parent permission) can complete one or two standardized early childhood screening measures online at no cost. Participants download or receive by email, Results letters, support materials and copies of the child’s questionnaires to share with family, caregivers and/or health care providers. Results letters encourage parents with concerns for their child’s development to take steps to call or self-refer to their Early Intervention Provider. All Early Intervention/ Early Childhood Special Education providers in Oregon are listed on public pages on the site.
