The actor Ichikawa Sadanji 市川 左団次 in the role of Shimo no Kunitarō とふげ下の国太郎 on the right (matched with the sign of the horse 午 ) and the actor Sawamura Tosshō II 沢村 訥升 in the role of samurai Sanshichirō Nobutaka あしかゞ三七郎信孝 on the left (matched with the sign of the ram 未, despite the presence of a horse's snout and mouth over his shoulder.)
