About This Print
A quiet winter evening in Montmartre. A snowfall has covered the cobbled street and the sky is a dusky yellow, looking very Utrillo-ish, as in the below painting. Sekino visited France in 1958 which must have included a visit to Montmartre in winter.
Montmartre Under the Snow, Maurice Utrillo (1883-1955)

Martin (p. 20) cautions that, “The identification of self- printed works [by Sekino] is a nuanced exercise in which the manner of printing, paper, colors, edition size, and signature style may all play a role”.
