About This Print

One of twenty posthumous large-format prints created between 1978-19801 by the Kyoto publisher Kyoto Hanga-In, after earlier Yumeji illustrations.  These large-format prints are part of the series titled Takehisa Yumeji moku-hanga shu 竹下夢二木版画集 (A Collection of Takehisa Yumeji's Pictures in Woodblock Print).

Each print was packaged in an envelope (see below) along with an explanatory insert (see below) and a decorative protective sheet.

[Note: for photos of how each print is packaged by the publisher, Kyoto Hanga-in, see Waiting for Spring from the series A Collection of Takehisa Yumeji's Pictures in Woodblock Print.]

1 Daiwa Shinagawa, President of Kyoto Hanga-In, confirmed the publication date for this print as between 1978-1980 in response to my inquiry made on May 1, 2012. She also confirmed that the series consisted of 20 prints.
