Neighbor's Dream

by Yoshida Tōshi, 1969

Varieties of the Japanese Print, Volume 1

About This Print

A vibrant and sparkling waterfall of turquoise striations fractured by black and violet organic shapes.  Hard enough to decipher our own dreams, let alone our neighbor's.

"Between 1954 and 1973, Toshi made nearly three hundred nonobjective prints... that signal his desire to use color, shape, line, and texture expressively to capture the nature of human experience or the human experience of nature."1
