Source: A Guide to No, P.G. O'Neill, Hinoki Shoten, 1929, p. 169.Okabe no Rokuyata, who has killed Tadanori in battle, brings Shunzei a poem which he found in Tadanori's quiver. Tadanori's ghost then appears and after complaining that Shunzei has included a poem of his in an anthology as an anonymous one, and talking of poetry in general, he speaks of the torments a warrior suffers after death.
