StreamSim

The Stream Simulator, created by the United States Forest Service, acts as a watershed model and allows students to actively engage in hands-on  experiments to learn about stream bank erosion, ideal organism habitat,   human effects on aquatic ecosystems, and other fluvial processes.  Ernie Ledbetter designed and built the Stream Simulator used by the Xstream Team and remains engaged in the project.  Through a continued partnership with the USFS, the ELP will use the Stream Simulator as an educational tool next year as well.
