Architecture under Akbar |
1. What are the distinctive aspects of Akbari style (i.e., the style developed under Akbar), as in the case of Fatehpur Sikri? How do they become varied and refined in the Tomb of Itimad-ud-daula? How are they given monumentality in the case of the Buland Darwaza? 2. How does the design of Akbar's Diwan-i-Am at Fatehpur Sikri reflect his inquiring mind and syncretic religious outlook? 3. In your opinion, what aspects of Akbar's tomb at Sikandra actually work well architecturally, and which are less successful?
