Interpretive Site Posters

The posters cover eight themes, and will be posted at eight different points of interest along the Mill Race.

The first set of posters covered: the bioswale, the riparian zone, the inlet, and the outlet. The bioswale poster will be posted next to the Agnes Stewart Middle School, and the riparian zone poster will be placed at the new LTD bus station in Springfield. The inlet and the outlet posters will be posted in their respective locations in regards to the Mill Race.

A New Inlet for the Mill Race

The second set of posters covered: the Springfield irrigation and agriculture, the old swimming hole, the Springfield Mill, and the wells and groundwater. The Springfield irrigation and agriculture will be posted at the agricultural area along the Mill Race. The Springfield Mill will be posted at the Mill Site and the wells and groundwater posters will be posted at Springfield Utillity Board's wellfield. The old swimming hole poster will be placed at the 28th Street cross the Mill Race. This poster describes the popular Swimming hole that existed there in the early 1900s.
