Gleneden Beach, Oregon

Gleneden Beach is a community built between US 101 and the beach in Lincoln County, Oregon.  (Map)  It is reached from the highway via the Gleneden Beach Loop Road.  Show/hide local attractions:

But the main attraction is the beach.  Gleneden Beach offers access to about six miles of sand, from Fishing Rock to the south to the end of the Salishan Spit to the north.  The view spans from Cape Fouweather in the south to Cascade Head in the north.  Beach access points, from north to south:

Laurel Street
 51   A short, rocks-and-sand ramp to the beach with paved parking.  2.8 miles to Fishing Rock, 3.5 miles to the end of the Salishan Spit.
