Yachats, Oregon, is Lincoln County's southernmost coastal town. It's smaller, more remote, less developed, and (to some) more charming than many coastal tourist towns. There are still nice options for food and lodgings, and the scenery here and nearby is spectacular.
The town of Yachats is built on a rocky terrace at the mouth of the Yachats River. To the north are the low bluffs and long sandy beaches of Lincoln County. To the south are fifteen miles of rockier, wilder coast, mostly without cell phone service, between Cape Perpetua and Heceta Head.
